The Road So Far
The race to take down Abaddon has heated up as the Winchesters learned Abaddon is harvesting souls to make a demon army loyal to her, leaving soulless humans on the rampage.
Meanwhile, Dean came in contact with The First Blade. He found the combination of it and the Mark of Cain overwhelming, and only Sam was able to break through the blade-induced bloodlust. Crowley then double-crossed the Winchesters, stealing The First Blade and telling them he would only give it up when the brothers were ready to kill Abaddon.
And, after Castiel killed Bartholomew after refusing to join forces to take on Metatron, a number of angels approached him, hoping to follow him.
