Tonight is the night. The Vampire Diaries season 5 ends tonight and there are a whole lot of questions we can’t wait to get some answers to.
The Vampire Diaries season 5 has been one crazy ride, and we are anxious to see where the finale leaves us. We can’t wait to see what is ultimately going to happen to Stefan, and we are EXTREMELY nervous to see how Damon and Elena react to the news that he’s gone.
Last Time on ‘The Vampire Diaries’
The Travelers have everything they need to do their spell. They have the doppelganger blood, the doppelgangers are together, and everyone knows what they need to do. When the spell begins, the first thing to go is the daylight rings, and one by one, all of our favorite vampires run for cover.
Damon lures Markos to the Salvatore homestead to do a little bargaining, but when Damon tries to call Markos’ bluff, Markos didn’t flinch. The bodies of his comrades are not his first priority, so whatever deal Damon had hoped to make was never going to happen.
Bonnie had hoped Liv would help her save the Other Side, but after no help came from the witch, Bonnie took to Enzo to see if he could help her. They were hoping to use a disgruntled dead Traveler who knew the spell that brought Markos back to life, but just as Enzo had her convinced to help, she was sucked off into oblivion.
The episode ended with the biggest shock of the season. We had been hearing all day from Liv and her twin brother Luke that one of the doppelgangers had to die to stop the Travelers’ spell, and when all was said and done, they killed Stefan. He appeared in front of Bonnie to cross over and asked if she had found a way to save them, but as of now, the Other Side is pretty much doomed.
Sneak Peek
The final sneak peek clip of season 5 has Bonnie and Damon together, and Damon is freaking out about Stefan and the collapse of the Other Side. He desperately wants to find a way to rescue his brother, but right now he’ll settle for keeping him from being sucked into oblivion.
