Awards: MTV Movie Awards 2014

The 2014 MTV Movie Awards are shaping up to be a star-studded affair, with the likes of Zac Efron, Rihanna and Channing Tatum set to make appearances.

The annual ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 13 in Los Angeles and will be hosted by late night talk show host Conan O'Brien. The awards show honors the best in films as determined by fan votes and is known for unique awards such as Best Kiss, #WTF moment and Best Shirtless Performance.

In addition to honoring films, the MTV Movie Awards also puts on memorable live musical performances, with acts such as Rihanna, Eminem and more scheduled to hit the stage. This year's ceremony will feature sneak peeks of the movies "X-Men: Days of Future Past," " The Amazing Spider-Man 2" -- introduced on tape by Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Jamie Foxx and " The Fault In Our Stars," as well as a tribute to "Fast & Furious" actor Paul Walker, who died in a car accident last year.

Celebrities confirmed to present an award or just appear on the show:
1. Aaron Taylor-Johnson - the actor is known for his role in the "Kick-Ass" movies.

2. Adam Levine - the frontman of Maroon 5 and a coach on NBC's "The Voice," also named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive" for 2013. (Check out PHOTOS of 17 of Adam Levine's sexiest stares.)

3. Amanda Seyfried - The actress is known for her roles in the films "Mean Girls," "Mamma Mia!," "Dear John" and "Les Miserables." In 2005, Seyfried won an MTV Movie Award with her fellow "Mean Girls" cast mates, including Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams and Lacey Chabert for the Best On-Screen Team award.

4. Ansel Elgort - The actor appears in the films "Divergent" and the upcoming big-screen adaptation of "The Fault in Our Stars," both of which co-star actress Shailene Woodley.

5, 6. Brian Littrell and AJ McLean - the two are members of the Backstreet Boys pop group.

7. Cameron Diaz - The California-born actress is known for her roles in the "Charlie's Angels" films as well as "There's Something About Mary" and "My Best Friend's Wedding." She has three films being released in 2014, including "The Other Woman," "Sex Tape" and the remake of the children's film "Annie."

8. Channing Tatum - The actor is nominated in the Best Hero category for his role as John Cole in the movie "White House Down." He will receive the third annual "MTV Trailblazer Award" during the ceremony, which honors an actor's unique and diverse body of work.

9. Chris Pratt - The actor is known for his roles in "Parks and Recreation" and the upcoming movie "Guardians of the Galaxy."

10. Dave Franco - The actor, and younger brother of James Franco, is known for his roles in the films "21 Jump Street" and "Now You See Me." He stars next in the movie "Neighbors" alongside Zac Efron and Seth Rogen.

11. Ellen Page - the Oscar-nominated "Juno" actress will introduce a sneak peek for the movie "X-Men: Days of Future Past," in which she plays Kitty Pryde.

12, 13, 14, 15. "Entourage" cast - Adrian Grenier, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Connolly and Kevin Dillon will reunite for their first televised appearance together since their hit HBO series wrapped in 2011 and ahead of the June 2015 release of the "Entourage" movie. They will present actor and "Entourage" producer Mark Wahlberg with the "MTV Generation Award."

16. Ice Cube - the rapper and actor is nominated for the movie "Ride Along" and is also known for his role in "21 Jump Street" and the upcoming sequel, "22 Jump Street," starring returing stars Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill.

17. Jackson Nicoll - the child star recently appeared in the movie "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa," which is nominated for two awards.

18. Jared Leto - the Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman recently won his first Oscar, for his role in "Dallas Buyers Club" (check out more details, plus backstage videos and our exclusive interview -- he thanks the Echelon!) and is nominated for two MTV Movie Awards for his performance. 19. Jessica Alba - the actress is known for roles in the "Sin City" and "Fantastic Four" movies.

20. Johnny Depp - the popular actor, who plays Captain Jack Sparrow in Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean" series and has appeared in a slew of Tim Burton movies such as "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," is currently promoting his latest movie, "Transcendence." 21. Johnny Knoxville - star of the "Jackass" series and movies, including "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa." He is nominated for an MTV Movie Award for his performance in the latter film.

22. Jonah Hill - the two-time Oscar nominee stars with Channing Tatum and Ice Cube in "21 Jump Street" and "22 Jump Street." He is nominated for three MTV Movie Awards, including two for "The Wolf of Wall Street."

23. Jordana Brewster - the actress is known for her role in the "Fast & Furious" movies and will take part in the tribute to Walker. She also stars in the TNT show "Dallas."

24. Josh Hutcherson - the actor is nominated for two MTV Movie Awards for his role as Peeta, love interest of Jennifer Lawrence's character Katniss, in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."

26. Leslie Mann - The actress is best known for her roles in the comedies "Big Daddy," "Knocked Up" and "This Is 40." She appears next in the movie "The Other Woman," which also stars Cameron Diaz and Kate Upton.

27. Liam James - The actor is nominated for an MTV Movie Award for his performance in the film "The Way Way Back." He is also known for his role in the AMC series "The Killing"

Mark Wahlberg - The actor is known for movie roles including "Boogie Nights," "The Departed," "The Fighter" and "Ted," the latter of which earned him an MTV Movie Award in 2013 for Best On-Screen Duo with Seth Macfarlane. Wahlberg will receive the "MTV Generation Award" during the show, which will be presented to him by the cast of "Entourage."

30. Megan Fox - The actress is promoting her newest film, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," helmed by Michael Bay, who directed her in the first two "Transformers" movies. Fox plays reporter April O'Neil (watch a teaser trailer)

31. Michael B. Jordan - He is nominated for his role in the movie "Fruitvale Station." He also starred with Zac Efron and Miles Teller in "That Awkward Moment."

32. Mila Kunis - The actress is nominated in the Best Villain category for her role in the movie "Oz The Great and Powerful." Kunis, who is reportedly engaged and pregnant with former "That 70's Show" co-star Ashton Kutcher, has appeared in films such as "Black Swan," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Friends With Benefits."

33. Milles Teller - He is nominated for two MTV Movie Awards for his role in ""The Spectacular Now," which stars Shailene Woodley

34. Nicki Minaj - The rapper is best known for songs such as "Super Bass" and "Starships." She makes her live-action film debut in the comedy "The Other Woman," co-starring Leslie Mann, Cameron Diaz and Kate Upton. Minaj previously voiced a role in the movie "Ice Age: Continental Drift."

35. Orlando Bloom - "Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" star is nominated for two MTV Movie Awards for his role as Legolas in "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug." 36. Rita Ora - The pop singer stars in the new movie "Fifty Shades of Grey," based on the hit romance novel.

40. Seth Rogen - The comedic actor is nominated for two MTV Movie Awards, in the Best Fight and Best Musical Moment categories, for his role in the movie "This Is The End." Rogen is best known movies such as "Knocked Up," "Pineapple Express" and "Funny People" and stars next in the comedy "Neighbors" with Zac Efron and Dave Franco.

41. Shailene Woodley - The actress is set to appear with Ansel Elgort in the ceremony's preshow to introduce a sneak peek of the movie "The Fault In Our Stars." She and Miles Teller are nominated in the Best Kiss category along with for their roles in the movie "The Spectacular Now." Woodley is also known for her roles in the television series "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" and the movie "The Descendants." 42. Will Poulter - The actor is nominated for three MTV Movie Awards for his role in the comedy film "We're the Millers."

43. Zac Efron - The actor is nominated in the Best Shirtless Performance category for his role in "That Awkward Moment." Efron is known for his roles in "High School Musical," "Hairspray" and "The Lucky One." He can next been seen in the comedy "Neighbors," co-starring Seth Rogen and Dave Franco. 2. Eminem and Rihanna - The two will take to the MTV Movie Awards stage to perform their hit single "The Monster," ahead of their joint stadium tour this summer. The two have collaborated on several songs in the past, including two versions of the hit "Love The Way You Lie" as well as the song "Numb," featured on Rihanna's 2012 "Unapologetic" album.

3. twenty one pilots - The indie rock band will perform their latest single "Car Radio" during the show. The duo, consisting of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, released their third studio album, "Vessel," in January 2013.

4. Zedd, feat. Matthew Koma and Miriam Bryant - The producer/DJ, whose real name is Anton Zaslavski, will perform "Find You," part of the "Divergent" movie soundtrack, along with Koma and Bryant.
